2014 Cathlamet Downhill Corral
Welcome to the 6th annual Cathlamet Downhill Corral! As always we have been working hard to improve the event in every way possible. With five years of practice in we have taken the input of the community and adjusted our format to match. Our goal is to give our participants the best experience possible, more skating, more obstacles, more fun!
The Downhill Race will once again take up the whole day Sunday, leaving ample time for lots of freeriding and numerous division racing. To encourage more racers the ramps will not longer be in the Downhill Race. The Town of Cathlamet has raised an additional $500 to award a women’s podium. More time to practice Slopestyle and Boarder X has been factored in. There will be a more relaxed slalom schedule allowing competitors to race at their own pace. Additionally we have added a Best Trick contest to add to the excitement of the Mule Kicker feature of the Boarder X and Slopestyle hill.
